Framework is one of the most renowned studios in the Midlands - having operated from Hockley since the late 1980's with Paul 'Bag' Siddens and Si Reeves. The studio helped to put Birmingham and Birmingham recording on the map with artists Napalm Death, PJ Harvey, Godsize, Carcass / Bjork (see Client List).
The vintage 66 channel Allen and Heath Sigma desk is still there but has not been on for quite a while now...but still leans up against the wall - reminding us of how it used to be done....
Since relocation to Musoplex in 2006 we have been working with Logic and digital processing with award winning AD conversion through valve TL Audio vocal compressors (to retain the analogue warmth) and vintage condenser and dynamic mics.

From £150 a day we supply release quality demos and label work as well as releases for several independent labels (inluding our own...Raven: Records).
We also provide radio jingles, ads, TV recording, training and development etc.
Based in the heart of the country, easily accessible from Junction 2 of the M5 and with a choice of excellent producers we are at the very heart of music in the Midlands.
Also doing our bit for the local community we provide free radio live sessions for WCRfm's Freshly Picked Unsigned Show hosted by Katy Jay.
